Proposed projects for CHS address new growth, student program expansions, and aging or deficient items to extend the life of the campus.

New Career and Technical Education (CTE) Addition at CHS:
  • Includes CTE shops, labs and classrooms
  • Increases campus capacity by over 330 students
  • Allows for increase in program offerings and student participation
Athletic Renovations:
  • Baseball and softball competition field renovations including new semi-enclosed batting cages
  • Provide new restrooms/concessions for track, softball and baseball fields
  • Provide new video board at football stadium
New Auditorium:
  • Multi-purpose auditorium with 1,000 seats (capacity to hold an entire grade level)
  • To be used district and community-wide for performances, concerts, events, assemblies, meetings
  • Includes lighting, sound booth, dressing rooms, box office, lobby and concessions
CHS Renovations:
  • Exterior building and site improvements
  • New front entry with controlled vestibule and reception renovation
  • Parking expansion
  • New marquee sign
  • Renovations to existing CTE wing to repurpose for academic and art classrooms
